The Oswells

Peter and I just took two days and had a guided fishing trip on the Elk River at Fernie. It was a perfect holiday. All you think about when river fishing is the fish, the water, and the fly. Brian worked his buns off while we were gone. It seems that as soon as one of us leave town, whoever is left behind has to work non-stop.

The market is still going strong here. I hear rumours that it is slowing down at the lower mainland. If a listing is priced right here (and if it is not in the top end of the market) it sells fast. The market for higher priced listings has definately slowed.

We picked up a real estate flyer while in Fernie. Real estate in the Kooteneys costs more than it does in Kamloops. That came as quite a surprise to me.

Guess I'll have to stay here.
