realtors worth knowing

I heard on the news last night that the lower mainland is expecting an earthquake sometime in the next two weeks (maybe) Obviously no one can tell for sure.
Two things happened in my head when i heard this. The first was - I should phone my kids who live in the lower mainland and talk them into coming home for a couple weeks. When I was going the University of Victoria there was suppose to be a big earthquake. The world was suppose to end. I packed up and came home to Kamloops for a couple of days. My sister, who is far braver than I, stayed. The world did not end and there was no earthquake. We had one earthquake the year my sister and I shared an apartment in Victoria. It was pretty scary.
The second thing that flashed into my head was - I wonder what real estate prices will do in Kamloops if there is an earthquake at the coast. Will hoards of people move to the interior? Will there be so many homeless people in the Lower Mainland that accomodation in Kamloops will be overloaded? It never ceases to amaze me how I can get so wrapped up in what I am doing that I see everything from this weird perspective. I wonder if other Realtors' heads work like this...........I"m sorry you are breaking up with your husband. ( Can I list your house?)
